Realized by The Visual Agency for Fondazione Symbola, the Apennine Atlas continues its international success. The publication tells the story of the most important mountain range of the Italian peninsula, giving in-depth insights and information about this geographical landmark.
After winning the Book Design prize, the project has been selected by Indigo Award’s jury as one of six best projects of 2019, finally being awarded winner of the renown ‘Graphic Design of the Year’ category. The award ceremony took place at the suggestive Picasso Museum in Malaga, Spain.
«The Atlas has been awarded because of its remarkable graphic and figurative features, but the project’s cultural value is significant as well: it explores the extraordinary area of the Apennines, explaining their complex ecosystem and biodiversity, investigating their sociocultural composition and looking into their demographic aspects.»
Congratulations to Benedetta and the whole team!
