After Leonardo Da Vinci’s Codex Atlanticus, The Visual Agency has once more embarked on the journey of transforming a cultural masterpiece, applying it to the field of digital humanities.
On the occasion of the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s death, The Visual Agency has focused on the poet’s epic work, the Divine Comedy for this year’s digital humanities project.
During the virtual launch event, we presented DivineComedy.digital to the public for the first time, showing its functionality and illustrating the techniques used to create it.
We also had the honor of hosting internationally renowned experts and researchers such as Prof. Jeffrey Schnapp and Prof. Paolo Ciuccarelli. They have discussed the role of digital humanities and data visualization applied to digital experiences, providing unprecedented and avant-garde perspectives.
